Algarve Golf Package – 7 Nights at Casa Luisandra Boutique Hotel with 3 Rounds of Golf

This seven-night Algarve golf holiday combines relaxed boutique accommodation with three of the region’s most enjoyable and varied golf courses. The package is designed for golfers looking for a balanced experience: peaceful surroundings, quality golf, and easy access to the western Algarve’s best layouts.

Casa Luisandra Boutique Hotel – 7 Nights with Daily Breakfast

Your base for the week is the Casa Luisandra Boutique Hotel, a small and thoughtfully designed countryside retreat located near Lagos. The hotel offers a calm and private setting away from the busier coastal resorts, making it particularly appealing for golfers who value rest and recovery after a day on the course.

Casa Luisandra features contemporary boutique-style rooms with a natural, understated design that reflects the Algarve landscape. The atmosphere is quiet and informal, with a focus on comfort and personal service rather than large-scale resort facilities. Guests can enjoy outdoor spaces including a swimming pool and garden areas, ideal for relaxing in between rounds.

Daily breakfast is included and served in a relaxed setting, offering a selection of fresh local produce, continental options, fruit, pastries, and hot dishes, along with coffee and juices. It provides a convenient and high-quality start to each day of golf.

Espiche Golf Club – 1 Round Included

Espiche Golf Club offers a modern and environmentally conscious golfing experience set in a natural landscape just outside Lagos. The course is known for its integration with the surrounding countryside, with native vegetation and gently rolling terrain shaping the layout.

Designed as a thoughtful test of strategy rather than pure length, Espiche rewards accuracy and course management. Fairways are generous in places but well-protected by natural hazards and positioning, while the greens are elevated and often require precise approach shots. The overall experience is peaceful, with a strong sense of space and minimal development around the course.

It is particularly popular with golfers looking for a quieter, more natural round of golf that still provides a solid challenge.

Boavista Golf – 1 Round Included

Boavista Golf is one of the most scenic courses in the Lagos area, offering a combination of coastal views and varied elevation changes. Situated on a hillside, the course provides panoramic outlooks over Lagos Bay and the Atlantic Ocean, with several holes designed to take advantage of the natural contours of the land.

The layout is engaging and enjoyable, with a mix of risk-and-reward holes, water features, and well-guarded greens. The elevation changes add both visual appeal and strategic complexity, particularly on approach shots where club selection is critical.

Boavista is a course that appeals to a wide range of golfers, offering both playability and memorable scenery throughout the round.

Penina Golf Course – Sir Henry Cotton Championship Course – 1 Round Included

The package also includes a round at the historic Penina Championship Course, one of the most established golf courses in the Algarve. Designed by Sir Henry Cotton, Penina is a traditional parkland course that has hosted multiple Portuguese Opens and remains a benchmark for championship golf in the region.

The course is characterised by its wide fairways, mature trees, and classic layout, requiring thoughtful positioning rather than sheer power. Water hazards come into play on several holes and add to the strategic challenge, particularly on approach shots and around the greens.

Penina offers a more traditional golfing experience compared to many modern Algarve courses, making it a valuable contrast within the package and a highlight for golfers who appreciate classic championship design.

Package Summary

This golf holiday combines comfort, variety, and quality across accommodation and golf. Staying at Casa Luisandra Boutique Hotel provides a peaceful base in the western Algarve, while rounds at Espiche, Boavista, and Penina deliver three distinct golfing experiences: natural and strategic, scenic and coastal, and historic championship parkland.

The result is a well-rounded Algarve golf break suitable for couples, friends, and small groups looking for a relaxed but high-quality golf itinerary.
